relay for lifeLambda Chi Alpha has been very busy this week participating in several events within the Ames community and the Greek system as a whole.

Friday, March 7th through Saturday, March 8th, we participated in Relay for Life, raising money for the American Cancer Society. During the event, we listened to inspirational stories from cancer survivors and families and also participated in games and competitions. The event lasted for 12 hours and at the end, Lambda Chi Alpha almost had the most participants from any Greek house! Overall, the event was an uplifting and inspirational experience and raised $102,995.85 for cancer research.

Also this week, homecoming pairings were decided. Lambda Chi Alpha is paired with Sigma Pi, Alpha Chi Omega and Adelante Fall semester. Immediately after pairings were decided, several members of Lambda Chi Alpha serenaded the sorority. We are all looking forward to a great homecoming next semester.

In other news, midterms are coming up this week and everyone is thankful for the warmer weather. Spring break is only one week away, and immediately following spring break is Greek Week. More details about Greek Week will come in the next two weeks.
