Lambda Chi's On The Rise Campaign Launched

Please watch your mail for an important mailing that will start to arrive the week of March 8. The ATZ Alumni Advisory Board has been busy working on a long range plan since the new board was formed in late January, 2010. A summary of that plan will appear be in the mailing. This summary includes plans for growth, provide an update on recent development activities for the Chapter officers and members, and also will highlight financial needs of the Chapter over the next three years.

All alumni are asked to consider making a financial commitment to the ATZ as part of this campaign. The letter notes the generous commitment already made by the 16 members of the alumni advisory board to kick off this campaign.

Details on the campaign will be in the letter you receive. All Alumni Advisory Board members and their phone numbers are included. Feel free to contact any of them with more information on the long range plan or the campaign.

Join Us During VEISHEA!

VEISHEA this year will be April 12-18. As usually, ISU has a lot of events planned, see the full list on the university website at http://www.veishea.iastate.edu/.

The Chapter will also have a number of opportunities for alumni to stop by and reconnect with the men in the house and other brothers from not only from ATZ, but also men from other chapters who live in the area. Again this year we are planning a golf event Saturday afternoon. For more details and additional information on chapter sponsored activities, stop back here soon, and also watch your mail for the latest edition of the BOMB will be arriving in your mail mid-March.

Afternoon - House Clean Up and Minor Maintenance efforts for all Alums and Undergrads that can make it;
Evening - On your own for Dinner (Suggest "Taste of VEISHEA" on Campus), Entertainment

Saturday, April 17th

9:00 to 10:00AM - Continental Breakfast & Coffee at the House, 203 Ash Ave & Guided Tours of the Chapter House
10:30 to 11:30AM - VEISHEA Parade on Central Campus
Lunch - On your own (Suggest "Taste of VEISHEA" on Campus)
1:00 to 4:00PM - Golf Outing at Homewood Golf Course
1:00 to 3:00PM - Disk Golf Outing at ISU Course
2:00PM - Iowa State Spring Football Game, Jack Trice Stadium
4:00PM - Guided Tour of Chapter House, Cookies & Coffee available
4:30PM to 6:00PM - Alumni Advisory Board, Chapter House (All Alumni are welcome!)
Dinner - On your own, perhaps a Group Outing to Olde Main Brewery or Other Location
